Just so everyone knows the new game Rock Band 2 is coming to the Microsoft Xbox 360 first which will debut in September and the Sony Playstation 3 will get it a little bit later. Rock Band 2 has officially been confirmed which is good news for all you music lovers, IGN revealed this not so long ago when Dan Teasdale the lead designer of Harmonix issued the juicy details.
The current and future downloadable content will be compatible with both the original and sequel and so will the instrument controllers, so if you purchased the original full set the first time around you will not have to do it again with the new video game Rock Band 2; all you need to is buy the new Rock Band 2 for $60 and play like you have never played before. The new game will have a much improved character customization plus the Band World Tour, the new game will be coming to PS2, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii in September and the Sony PS3 version will be coming a little later, the release date for the PS3 says “TBA 2008,”.
All we say is, September is a while away yet and maybe they might fix whatever problem they have by then. Let’s hope is all we can say really.

i think rock band are shooting themselves in the foot here by not releasing on ps3 for a while because it just means it gives the chance of ps3 owners to think, hey i can get guitar hero world tour, fuck waiting for rock band
