New details of the awesome football game “EA Fifa 09” has just been released to Pocket-lint, they got these details well ahead of the launch in September, we cannot wait for this game to hit the shelves.

EA Fifa 09 football game or yes and some say soccer, is planned for the PS3, Wii, PC and Xbox 360 and we can see many gamers shying away from the likes of Pro Evo. I know we are about PS3 only but it is only fair we let you know about all the detail for all platforms.

EA Fifa 09 PC title has the developers adding brand new PC-specific elements to the game including a brand new collision system that this year includes a strength attribute that will determine how players react dependent on their size and strength.

For the PC this game will feature a new online widget mode that if the PC is connected, this means when online players will be able to see the stunning home page which is similar to Google’s personalised homepage with widgets on their own stats as well as other online players. Additionally users will be able to choose a team widget that offers news and stats from your favourite team in the real world. EA have also added mouse controls which will be easier for gamers who prefer mouse playing rather than keyboard or gamepad.

The way the mouse controls works is all about allowing users to pin-point attacks, space or pass to team mates, send player on custom runs and analog shooting control. You will have the combination of keyboard and mouse (standard WASD).

On the Nintendo Wii, the brand new version will have a beginner’s mode and advanced mode, it also has something called All-Play which basically means controls that feature shoot, pass and tackle which will be much easier for the casual gamer, oh and you will get loads of on-screen support. There will also be an 8 vs. 8 footii match option and the ability to import your Mii avatar so you can feature in the game alongside Wayne Rooney et al.

Poket-lint have said “On the next-gen front, ie Xbox 360 and PS3, the main focus appears to be based on improving the realism rather than adding new game modes. EA says there will be 250 key improvements ranging from customisation, to improving player physics and how they react to actions on screen. The screenshots shown here are on the PS3.

Multiplayer will be awesome because it has jumped from 5 v 5 player to 10 v 10, you cannot control the goal keep though, oops.
