  are also coming out on XBOX 360 arent they…
  along with fable 2, gears of war 2 and too human…

  actually i own a PS3 as well - just pointing out the facts.

  just thought it was a little on the “poor reporting” side to claim that because some multi-platform titles are coming out then Playstation3 must be having a stellar year.

  If the titles had of been stuff like LBP or Uncharted 2 - then that would be different…

  For the rec - im not trying to start any sad-a$$ fanboy stuff just pointin ouit the facts.

  Which is generally a true statement, the games mention will probably be good (for both PS3 and XBOX). However, this is a PS3 web site hence the name “PS3 Daily.” So reporting on stories , like this one from “Kotaku,” which support the PS3 and it’s future makes sense.

  What doesn’t make sense is one of those “actually i own a PS3 as well” XBOX 360 owners that troll this site and bash the PS3, which they claim to “own.” That is immaturity at it’s best. If you “own” both why don’t you just keep your mouth shut and appreciate the fact that you can chose which console to play a game on.

  I own both consoles and the playstation 3 is by far the better piece of kit. I watch blu ray in 1080p on my 40″ tv as well as play top games with the flick of a switch. Also I can play games online for ‘free’ without subscription charges and without having to buy extra wireless adapters toconnect.
  The PS3 is miles ahead of the 360, but unfortunately (as with the pc software market) Microsoft can beat competitors who’s products are way better than theirs because they are massive and have infinite resources.
  I have to laugh at these guys who whole -heartedly come out in support of the 360, because basically Microsoft is basically the tesco or walmart of the gaming market.

  @ KG - the story mode kicked arse, i’ll give it that, really sucked me in, but online was kinda just more of the same old deathmatch FPS stuff, all you do is run and gun. GTA online is where it’s at

  i actually hated cod4 online (prolly cuz i sucked). but the reason i sucked is that i felt that the game was stacked against newbies because of the achievements system. correct me if im wrong since i barely played that online, but i started out with like nothing while ppl who played longer had a bunch more stuff like scopes and dropping nades when you kill them. but i actually enjoyed the story mode, which was unfortunately short, however.

  @ dead - yeah, it needs a system similar to Warhawk to match up gamers with similar skills/ranks. dropping n00bs into a deathmatch like CoD4 does is asking for them to get arse raped. i prefer to play ‘arcade mode’ personally

  That GTA 4 DLC ain’t comin any time soon.
  Lips and Scene it have direct equivalents in the playstation library.
  LBP kicks the ass of Banjo Kazooie.
  DLC is not a selling point, it has been proven with GTA.
  Braid is cool. Gears is fun, but nothing special. Fable 2 looks cool, we’ll see if it lives up to the hype.
  Anyways, you 360 fanboys don’t have much more to boast about than us ps3 fanboys.
  And your system will probably break several times within its lifetime. And 5 years of online service = $250

PS3 is getting Little Big Planet, Final Fantasy, Socom, Motorstorm 2, Infamous, Gran Tursimo 5, and trust me, so much more! Why would you want to pay for online when PS3 is free? That is the stupidest thing I ever heard. And you get fanboys who say, you get what you pay for LOL. What is the difference between xbox live and ps3 online? Really. I have scene it under my bed, its called a board game. lol. and ps3 has a better trivia game, its called buzz and you can creat your own trivia question. 360 sucks so get over it. its going to die just like the original xbox. PS3 is powerful! you need a xbox 720 to compete with ps3, and thats a fact, look it up!

  As I understand it, the advantage of Xbox live is the communication tools - networking with groups of people is easier. I’m not sure how. Microsoft also enforces more online standards for developers so that all games have to work with network platform.
  The Sony communications systems work pretty well now. Since Sony’s standards are more lax, some games really integrate well with the xmb and others not so much. I could see how the networking could be improved, but the features have been more than ample for my needs, especially since in-game XMB.
  Home is the real wild card. It could blow everybody out of the water, or just be one big Meh.
  Both online services have had their share of wonkiness, which puts PSN in the lead, imho, since it’s free and wonky, as opposed to XBL, which is not free and wonky.
  Unreliability is just par for the course with the interwebs.

  Its called exclusive CONTENT - tr is getting it for 360 and so is fallout.
  sony is losing its exclusives all the time - first Devil May Cry4 (whioch was cheaper on xbox on release) then Final Fantasy - and now tekken..
  whats left for sony? - killzone 2 (sequel to a crap game) resistance 2 (sequel to a mediocre game) Little big planet (that kids platformer?Dont make me laugh)
  io only listed exclusive games in reoply to a previous poster who said that xbox only has 2 exclusives - trying to make a point that theres more then that - and they look better theen your puny lamestation.

  i dont care bout blulerayplayer (last i chekced DVDS worked fine) you buy a games console to play games on it - wheres the evidence that blue ray games will be bigfger/better/longer? - i played MGS4 and it didnt look like anything that couldnt be done on the xbox.

  face it losers - youve had to wait too llong for a game worth playing (an EXCLUSIVE worth playing) yeh uncharted was ok =- but how long did it take to finish? 5 hours? - please.
  the only games that it would be worth buyiong a PS3 for is God Of War3 (when its due out now? 2011?) and wipeoutHD - when good of war comes out - let me know - maybe then ill agree that the PS3 is a worthy machine.

  OH I forgot, Thanks to blu ray, Resistance 2 is going to have up to 60 players online. does 360 have that much people for an online game? and no you didn’t play mgs4, because your just a fanboy. yes, I bought a ps3 to play games, but i love buying blu ray. blu ray destroys dvd and the dead hd dvd. There is so much more features and the graphics and sound are much better. hey what happened to the original xbox lol. ps2 is still alive. When we are playing PS3, you have to go out and buy a xbox “720″ because the 360 is going to join the original! Sony is smart, microshit is just greedy! its a fact!

  so MGS4 - the 16 hour game that i finished on my housemates PS3 - will only fit on 360 qith 6 discs? - some how i find that hard to believe…
  by kids game i mean a game that your sister prob is excited about - i played the beta - WOW - you can move your sackboys hips by moving sixaxis!!! - WOW!!! (note the sarcasm)
  If you were old enough to even remember the Banjo kazooie games on 64 kid, youd know they are aimed at the hardcore. - but as you would have been about 8 when they came out and still breastfeeding im sure you would never have known that.
  OK - so the president of SONY said that SONY will have longer and better games in 2009? - u know what thats called? - its called - HYPE.
  Thinking that teh games will be better in a years time - does that make you feel better about paying twice as much as a 360 to play the same games? (uinless you really wanna play Lair and Haze!)
  Look at metacritic - the only game on PS3 in the top 10 rated of all time that was exclusive to PS3 was MGS4 (or the CUTSCENE game) and uncharted. - the only other game in the top 10 on metacritic thats only on SOny is Ninja Gaiden - A REMAKE FROM THE FIRST XBOX!!!!lol - then again i guess it was before your pubeless time.
  i also bnotice that for all the hate i spewed forth regarding sonys upcoming games the only one you picked up on was LBP - is that cos you agree that resistance and killzone are obver hyped Pieces of shit?

  it’s the most innovative game to come out all year.
  I’ve been in the Beta. The game is fun to play - more fun than lego star wars, lego indy, even most bad levels are worth checking out at least once.
  I am completely addicted to it - playing online, playing offline, creating; there were a number of titles i was looking forward to in the next few months, both exclusives and multi-plat, but, i think this is the only game that will see any action from me for a long time….
  to poo-poo LBP is gives striking evidence of a lack of game knowledge. The game is rich with innovation AND classic gaming AND social gaming. The user tools are the most robust and easy to use of their kind ever. The game is actually endless.
  I’ve been waiting for this game for 20 years.
