Right if you can all cast your memories back to E3 2006 or 2005 (it’s been that long not sure which one) but WHAT THE HELL HAS HAPPENED TO ALAN WAKE the new title from the creators of the max Payne games.
I mean come on its been 2 or 3 years since we have seen it what are they doing with it its not like they have been working on anything else as I can remember from the video, they had and screenshots it had an amazing look and looked to be one of the best games graphically with a intriguing story as you play.
Alan wake who is a book writer who writes horror novels but starts having dreams and they start to come to life after dark, now I have read on a number of sites that it has been confirmed to be shown at TGS in 2009 and has been slated for a September 2009 release, but one thing that will really p1ss off PS3 owners is that it is now owned by Microsoft and will only be a Xbox 360 exclusive as they said it was going to come out on the PC and Playstation as well, what the hell is up with that but on a more positive note for fans and owners of Uncharted and Burnout Paradise for uncharted there is a new update for the game which will give trophy’s for the game so it gives players the opportunity to play through the amazing story twisting and graphically brilliant game once again and earn something at the same time, and as for Burnout well Hot on the heels of the Bogart patch, which mainly consisted of bug fixes and a few minor features and more ambitious Cagney update.
Which will gain access to three new Freeburn modes, over 70 new Freeburn challenges, two new vehicles, 3 new liveries, and the long-awaited ability to create custom soundtracks on your PlayStation 3 but word has spread that the awaited Bike Pack A.K.A Davis Pack has been confirmed for release next month no date has been given as of yet but you will get 2 bike the FV1100 street bike and a Japanese Firehawk racing bike, plus you will get 70 challenges specially for bikes.
35 of these are timed, multi-part challenges and we will get the eagerly awaited night and weather feature which will see paradise city become something different when the traffic thins out at night and there will be multi-check point races that will take you over the whole city if you want to read more on this go to www.criteriongames.com as it will have all the details on every patch for the game.

Its a bit like The Getaway and Eight Days - they had no news for a few years (announced the same time as Alan Wake - E3 2005) and look - they got canned. So I wouldnt be surprised if this game got canned but who knows…
I’m not too interested in it anyway - not a huge loss if its canned - I dont own an Xbox anyway - never have, never will.

Alan Wake was NEVER, EVER due to come out on the PS3.
Its still due for the 360 and PC like it always has been.
The TGS appearance was touted in a competition that was run over a year ago and Remedy have stated it will not be at the TGS.

The PC version is working extremely well by all accounts and the delay with the release is down to problems getting the game to run on the 360 at a quality similar to the PC demos.
At E3 2005 demos were shown of Killzone 2 and Alan Wake, both of which looked amazing. The PC version of Alan Wake will look as good as the demo, Killzone 2 has now been proven to look as good as its demo but the 360 version of Alan Wake will sadly not match the quality of the 2005 video.

I had no problems reading it, however the title of the article suggests it was about Alan Wake, half way through the article it starts talking about trophy’s..nothing to do with Alan Wake.

I really hate how 90% of the people on N4G’s forums are super PS3 fanboys.. I would like to drive a stake into one of their hearts.. All the news that involves any conflict between the consoles also is pro PS3 and dissing on or saying something negative to the Xbox 360. Its so annoying, I have no clue why people that don’t have an Xbox 360 take so much or their time to make sure that they know EVERYTHING there is to know about the Xbox 360 and rant about it as much as possible. I guess its a little bit of hope in their heart, (that I drove a stake into) that one day hopes that maybe they will have an Xbox 360 of their own. I have all 3 systems. I like them all. Why do there have to be so many gay people though.. Why can’t we have more bisexuals.. Come on now. Alan Wake was never announced for the PS3. Ever. It was always going to be an Xbox 360/Games for Windows game. I don’t know where you get your information, but Microsoft has always been the publisher, and never, ever, said it was going to be on the PS3.
