Normally when we do hand-on reviews we would take multiple pictures with our digital camera and give you a pretty long in-depth review, well today that is not the case because it would be a total waste of our time and of course yours.
Just so you know up front, we will play this game a lot more than we already have but only once we get bored with the others. We are talking about Beijing 2008 for the PS3, Beijing 2008 Olympic Games on the TV is awesome and very exciting most of the time, but when it comes to the game for the PlayStation 3, forget about it, no really forget about it.
I remember years ago playing Olympic Games on the arcade machine where you vigorously spank the control sticks and buttons to make the player run and to control all other parts in the game, that was fine because arcade machines are very strong indeed.
This game basically uses the same process, which come on Sony the controls and myself hate it, I don’t believe what I am doing, I am so sorry PS3 gamers but I have to say what I feel and this game is a major let-down. Yes of course the console is the best gaming machine in the world this will never be any different.
Playing this game for about an hour or so is not too bad, but anytime after that your fingers, body needs to sit back and relax. We all like bashing the heck out off the controls and sticks but for some reason it does not cut it with this game. Some events were very good but most were how should I put it – CRAP -.
The graphics are very good indeed, but the whole gameplay did not excite me. The game has 36 different events which are good but continuously bashing the hell out of the controls is not my cup of tea so to speak.
Anyway frankly getting bored talking about the game, SORRY. Please let me know if you like this game and why, or even if you hate it let us know why?

The game isnt that bad tbh
Its alright but not the best obviouly
I think its only fun with your mates around
and you can all hav a laugh winning or losing at the 100m or other events
It would be better if it had the names of the athletes tho like Usain Bolt or Tyson Gaye but nevermind , out of 10 i would give it a 4
