Yes the all new Gran Turismo 5 Prologue update is now available and you will get new cars amongst other things, if you are a GT fan you will love the following. The new update will get you 3 new vehicles plus a few gameplay and performance enhancements.

So about these new vehicles, the 3 new cars and manufacturers are tied in with Gran Turismo developer Polyphony Digital and will be added to respective Dealership areas in GT5 Prologue. For starters you will get the awesome GT by Citroen which is the all new concept car, this car was shown at the Paris Motor Show, check out the video in HD here, you can also check out more hot pictures here.

To get your hands on the GT by Citroen you will need 1 Million credits, Ferrari California can be purchased for 300,000 credits and the Lotus Evora for 100,000.

More that we think you will like in the way of gameplay enhancements;

GamePlay Enhancements
We’ve also added some great new gameplay enhancements to continue to improve the racing experience in GT5 Prologue. This includes changes to the penalty system; specifically, during Time Trial events, speed penalties have been removed, and instead incurring such a penalty now invalidates the lap time for that particular lap. Race events are also being updated, with tweaked difficulty levels and increased earnings for winning a top spot. Additionally, improved responsiveness when using the wireless controller, and improved sound volume balance for sound effects and music for a better racing experience. Drift Trial races have also been changed to feature a rolling start.
