Seriously, I don’t give a flying fornication that there are words in the song that may also be included in a religious reading from some other country/background/religion. It pisses me off that others have to bend over every time someone picks up on something as STUPID as this!
Im pretty sure than of all the songs ever written, especially the ones in other languages, there are those that have offended more than a few people to a certain extent, and they’ve not bothered their arse to complain to anyone!

If people are going to bitch and moan about others trying to broaden the horizons of someone else by introducing a song or excerpt from a reading into something like the LittleBigPlanet game, then I think the people within that particular background shouldn’t be offended when backs are turned on them and there beliefs, simply through ‘fear’ of upsetting someone. If your gonna bitch about it, keep to yourself and dont stick your nose in where others actually have an opinion about things or more importantly, are interested in something and have a personal view on how they interpret something.

There are too many people in the world with different opinions. nobody will ever please everyone. Get over it and learn to accept the fact that you might be offended by something at lease once in your life. Tough shit, deal with it.

if the song is really that offensive why is it still up on myspace, why can you still buy it on itunes and amazon??

this was a deliberate attack on LBP nothing else. and Sony bowed and pulled the game on the flimsiest and most pathetic of reasons.

we try and do a decent thing by actually including this music in the first place and what happens, it gets thrown back in our faces.

best stick to the rock and electronic tracks then.

Here’s what a Guy said it says on the LBP Blog.
(as a comment, so who knows, time seems off)

    “LBP Delayed for “Bad Lyrics”

Words from the Koran I hear:

    “- The words are:

1- In the 18th second: “كل نفس ذائقة الموت” (”kollo nafsin tha’iqatol mawt”, literally: ‘Every soul shall have the taste of death’).

2- Almost immediately after, in the 27th second: “كل من عليها فان” (”kollo man alaiha fan”, literally: ‘All that is on earth will perish’).”"

WTF. What a stupid reason. I can’t believe how offended they got just for a little song. Also, the lyrics don’t seem evil to me. They actually sound really good. If a game offends you, then STFU and don’t play it!!!!! Next I bet you they’re gonna be Blacks complaing about RE4.

yea masf, they did. they made a big stink because all the enemies (cant remember the names, something like manjini) are black. they said it was racist.
grow up! it takes place in south africa (i think), what do you suspect.
