Fallout 4 Coming to PS3 in 3 years according to report

October 24th, 2008 · 5 Comments

Fallout 4 coming to the PS3 in around 3 years time which means about 2011/2012 is a great idea, we all know that Fallout 3 is coming out in the U.S on October 28 and UK on October 31, but to hear that the fourth one may possibly come in 3 years time is great news.

An executive producer called Todd Howard does indeed believe that Fallout 4 in three to four year’s time is a good enough time span between each game. Pete Hines the Bethesda PR says it is jumping to conclusions and then some.

Between Fallout 2 and Fallout 3 took around about 10 years, so 3 to 4 years between Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 is pretty sudden. Many people speculate that it will be more like 18 years between Fallout 3 and the 4th one. Let us know what you think.

The history of Fallout is littered with many gaffes, false starts, broken promises, and tears.

Actually the last Fallout game wasn’t Fallout 2, but Fallout Tactics, released in 2001, which wasn’t an expansion but rather a standalone game, although slightly more of a Strategy/RPG than a pure RPG.

There would have been a Fallout 3 just a few years after that, but funding ran out, or their computers blew up, or rabbits ate the source code, or something.

Few people seem to have heard of the originals. It’s a common problem, but I played them at the time because I am an old man compared to you noobs ;)

And they really are worth playing, if you have the patience (don’t expect HD visuals, nor every line of dialog to be read out loud). Sadly these days I don’t think many gamers would have the patience. A number of gamers don’t seem to have even the patience for Fallout 3, despite the mind-blowing atmospherics and action it delivers. And yet it is, in my opinion, the game of the decade.

um the difference between fallout 2 and 3 was 10 years because interplay went down. the franchise was sold to bethesda , and van buren ” original fallout 3 ” in iso view like 1 & 2 was scrapped by bethesda for application on an oblivion engine.
    did you not know that?
