  2009 will be great. Next gen Final Fantasy, the reason I got a next gen console, as well as GT5, uncharted 2, Streetfighter 4 and RE5. Looking just as expensive as this year

  you also missed out the PSN releces as well GTI Club will be a must as i was a big fan of the arcade and have always wanted a full size dual machine never had the room but now can have it in the confort of my own living room cannot wait unconfirmed launch date was around the end of november hope it comes out then will be a great title for the psn network.

  OMG. F*** I just got a PS3 and was broke buying 3 PS3 exclusive and GTA 4 and COd 4. I got resistance 1 and 2 and MGS4, getting new games soon but im going to go broke with those games in 2009. Better start saving up and probably get a summer time job and forget about getting an xbox 360 to put beside my PS3.

  I got a 360 by my PS3 side its like the odd couple beside HAVE YOU PLAYED GEARS OF WAR its worth owning a 360 I going to get Gears two tonight. I’m not bashing either system they are both good

  Final Fantasy will be good - however, it’s not going to make me buy a PS3, I already own an XBox 360 and that does me fine!

  Infamous looks just ok… a new Sly Cooper would be better.

  @Wii…. first off Wii sucks. Enjoy playing a gimped version of FFXIII in a 20 DVD box set. Meanwhile I will be enoying the game in 1080p and 5.1 dolby all on a single-ray.

  Infamous “just” okay??

  If this game delivers everything that’s promised, Infamous will be the “big” game that any PS3 owner ‘must’ have (IMO).

  @Mark S: Maybe I am biased because I really want a new Sly. Don’t get me wrong, I think Infamous looks great.

  I’m not sure that GOWIII, FF vs XIII, or Uncharted II will actually end up being released in 2009… so at this point my most anticipated three would have to go to Kill Zone, White Knight, and Ratchet.

  yeah white knight something to look foward to.. is about time that sony brings more rpg games.. i mean this is the bread and butter genre..

  Actually Wii has a CD drive not even DVD drive. So try more like 50 to 60 disks. Also even on a 480i level the game would be so intense that the punny drive would fall apart.

  Lol I guess your not very clever cuz my wii reads DVD’s m8 chippied it especially just to play movies, very small portable dvd player, I can assure you it plays dvd’s. Im not a fan of many games on the wii but its a fun console to own, the good games that it has are just as FUN or more FuN than these games you play.

  @ Wii - I think you have to avoid being cliché, hit the nail on the head, its what floats your boat if you want a games console the 360 will be just fine if you want to create an expensive home cinema system £1500+ (wont tell the difference on anything cheaper- high end tv, high end audio, not necessarily £150 5.1 system,buy a ps3 with blu-ray to compliment it, works out about the same if you plan on buying a blu-ray player) but the 360 will do the average gamer just fine (not including the brand loyal hardcore fanboys out there
  p.s. I have nothing against you.)

  PS3 is going well? Are you blind? Insane? did Sony pay you?
  I have PS3 since the beginning. Do you know how many good games I’ve played? 1 and to be honest they were not as good as they should be.
  There is only one game to look forward and it is Final Fantasy XIII but again it was delayed to 2010.
  So I ask again. Where exactly PS3 is good or better or well?
  It sad but i think is just a matter of MS take over the gamining market. And you know what? I don’t care because at the end of the day I have my PC with geforce GTX 295 SLI.
  Overlord II, Bioshock II. I will all by pc version.
