hey i just seen the wireless keypad for ps3……wow i am so not impressed. it looks wrong. oh and guess what 360 did it first lol and better as it mounts under the controller allowing easy typing and play. that thing looks top heavy and uncomfortable to use. and did i say 360 had it 1st ;0)
they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so imitate away sony lol

I’ve heard complaints for both versions.. that being said, I’m of the opinion it doesn’t look THAT bad.. but I’d still be concerned about the shoulder button access.

i barely type messages/ just text a friend…. get a head set ..no need for key board ..get a labtop or desltop no browser needed….

and when needed its not that big of a deal just to use regular ps controller im qui anyway…..

    JUST THINKING IN WRITING……OR ..OUT LOUD>>>> :)

    This looks wicked!

I’ll finally be able to use the controller as a keyboard as when I do use the browser - it takes ages to type what you want to type!

I just don’t understand what that ‘dave smith’ is saying about the 360 so much for - like he trying to rub it in our faces or something haha - oh well!

Anyways, can’t wait to get one of these but just hope it dosen’t drain the battery out of controller to much but hopefully shouldn’t! Also, you think any games will come out which could make it able to use the keyboard during play? Just an idea ;)

I’d get the full keyboard over this addition any day, but it’s not like I’m in a rush or anything to get a message to someone. I have time.

dave smith is an ass. Does he realize that the Wii had Miis first? Or PS3 was the first to enable game installs? Hows the new NXE going dave? Is it an original, innovative experience? No? I didn’t think so.

  • 8 riZe- // Nov 21, 2008 at 9:01 pm

Heh I bet even with the keyboard it’s still lighter and handles better than the Xbox controller, still nice and symmetrical.

nope it aint original but its effective and at the mo its something you aint got. hows ps3 home going? oh yeah it isnt lol

Mr. Smith, first off please don’t rag on PS Home, it’s obviously coming along.. or do you not notice all the BETA’s being released? Also you may SAY that you have all of the consoles but you seriously sound like an Xbox supporter and have obviously never turned your Playstation on.. (OH NO! NO BUTTONS WHAT DO I DO?).
So please don’t come on here with a biast opinion of the Xbox (which this topic doesn’t mention at all) and rag on a company that uses the equivalent of your family’s income as toilet paper. Just go waste your money on some MS points or go play tennis on your wii, we aren’t listening.

PS. Don’t say “lol” it makes you sound inferior, same with the “;o” faces.

i first came too this site as a link on comparison prices for 360 against ps3, which i have and dont use for games as they play better and have better online capabilites on the 360. i have never usually got involved in these mines better than yours jobbies. but i have found that most of you guys, not all,are so far up your own arse its beyond beleif.each system has something to offer. for 360 its online gaming. fos ps3 its more storage for games like oblivion which has the expansions on the same disc and slightly better graphics, though not as much as some on here think. and of course blue ray and upscaling, cos yes hd lost and ps3 is quieter in operation. on the whole ps3 has always lagged behind the 360 as that came to market 1st. i would expect over the coming months and years that ps3 would leave the 360 behind in terms of graphics but not much else. i have resistance and will eventually get no2, but there is no way the control system is anywhere near as intuitave as it is on the xbox controller. so if you like your ps3 for games have fun. if i had only ever bought ps3 then maybe i would not contemplate buying 360. in saying that given the choice of losing one or the other it would be ps3 to go. after all it mostly gets used for films.
it doesnt matter how you look at it the xbox is better supported. i played reistance online and the in game communications are real bad. i know you have some exclusive titles like little big planet and msg but i never liked them in the first place so i am not missing anything there at all. and before anyone quotes bloody halo3 or gears of war 2 sod off. i dont think these are the best titles. if i play a game that doesnt really need online capabilites ie oblivion then i get it on ps3. for anything else it is xbox. this argument will rage forever. remember megadrive or snes. the only way to get the best of both worlds is to own more than one console which is why i have the wii as well(yep i like the tennis).
if you want it you can have my ps3 handle though you wont find me online as even my son who has ps3 and 360 is always online on the 360.he also works in gamestation so he knows his stuff and whats hot in the market. so dont want to offend anyone but maybe a lot of you guys should think 1st if you dont want shit thrown back.
no buttons oh hell what did i miss?lets see eject, standby and one around the back for main power.jeez if you guys know of anymore please let me know

Hey first of thanks for not saying “lol” or making gay little faces, I applaud you. Makes you look more mature and ups the image that we see of you. (Next step: Punctuation)

First off we all have opinions, but you chose to come in here and start blabbing about how the 360 did it first. Did you see any mention of the 360 in this article? You obviously didn’t think before you posted that your comments would spark a “console war”. Like every other article on this website an argument is started when some outsider comes in and starts negatively portraying the console that this whole website stands for. –> If you prefer the Xbox, then go to an Xbox news site! <– As simple as that. As for your whole controller being better ideal, I respect your opinion but in my eyes I see an unsymmetrical controller whose bumpers are commonly being accidentally hit and no groundbreaking technology such as sixaxis (Even though Wii did it first, not the point). The communication on PS3 isn’t as good mainly because it didn’t come with a headset, so you get many people with a huge variety of headsets with different qualities of outputs. However we don’t have as many snot-nosed little kids making annoying sounds on a game like Halo, we just get feedback from cheaply bought headsets.

In conclusion, you came in to this article and saw it as a way to negatively point at the PS3, reference to another console which isn’t mentioned in this article, and insulted US for having our “heads up our arses”, please take a look in the mirror before you make assumptions. Also thanks for admitting that Halo is “somewhat” overrated, because it sure is, but it’s what people want so it works. I would also like to apologize for some of the things I have said that may have upset you. You sound like a man that could benefit greatly from a game like Killzone 2, any thoughts on that game?

“If you don’t have something nice to say, then don’t say it at all.”

    @ rize

Dammit you beat me to the punctuation and spelling gag heres a quiz for the 360 (secret ps3 lovers) which keep coming back to this site,

I have cut a section from dave smith’s latest post first one with the correct answer wins a carboard cut out of a ps3 so you can pretend you own one so spot the mistake in this quote answers on a postcard to:

    Dear Ps3daily,
    I wish i had a ps3
    I hate that i could only afford a 360
    Uk
    Po Box 360SUX

    Heres the quiz:

“mines better than yours jobbies. but i have found that most of you guys, not all,are so far up your own arse its beyond beleif.each system has something to offer. for 360 its online gaming. fos ps3 its more storage for games like”

there you go.i rest my case. i took onboard what you said. and your comments were just and relevant. then comes along poole569 to back up what i think about most of you on here. did it occur to him that i may also have visited because i do own a ps3, but find that for myself i prefer 360 for games. “eastcoastdaveuk”. there you go thats my handle. on ps3 and 360. yes i will be considering killzone, although it looks not much different than many fps that i have played. but i am going on the ps2 version so who knows. i hope that from your constructive comments that you are maybe above the likes of poole569. oh and snot nosed little kids? yep i agree with that as well, i gave up trying to play gta as the online chatter was cronic.
as a visitor to this site i couldnt believe how much unwarranted shit was being thrown at the 360 and so i bit back. and for that i am sorry

    Rize, Dave Smith: STFU!

Anyway, I like the keyboard! I play FFXI on my PS3 and times when I get done playing a game I usually like to check myspace or my email so I just click on my Internet browser icon. This makes it seem relaxing to me, to where I could just lean back on my couch and type away instead of having my wireless keyboard on my lap or having to reach up and pull it out of its case. Heh heh.

Good job Sony and copying MS but making it a LOT better. You’re just doing what everyone else did to you back then like I don’t know, copying the vertical standpoint. The end.

  • 16 riZe- // Nov 30, 2008 at 12:35 am

For the record, saying “STFU” is gay too.

But yes, enough bickering. It’s just a shame that every accessory for the PS3 has to be 40+ bucks (dollars). I’ve gotta get a better job or something.

not to mention xbox 360 has a 51% fail rate ps3 is at 18% and wii 11%.
