  Well, while version 1.0 coming to Closed Beta tomorrow is fine, I was hoping it would mention something about the Open Beta, at least more than the “Coming weeks” and “Open Beta will be here when it’s here”, sounds like the still don’t have even an approximate date.

  Why do they shroud it in so much secrecy?
  Why not just come out with it and tell people whats going on?! Its not like we don’t already know its coming!

  It would be nice to be involved in the BETA, but to be honest, im not bothered anymore!

  sort of giving up about when it comes out as keep getting dates and they dont relece it.

  think sony really should pull a finger out and get it out as a beta and fix it on the fly.

  well it defently wasent out this morning i checked at 2:45 am and at 9 am so only the sony privliged will know when the real date is.

  From what i understand there’s a new wave of invites going out Friday however these people have already been selected and are likely to be active members of the PS Community. An Open Beta for all will be on PSN in the coming weeks, i’d put a guess at 12th or 19th December…

  When the open beta comes out how will i get it. Is it via the ps store, or will it be a system update, how does the beta trials work.

  think its a fantasy till i see it avalible for download well lets see what happens at midnight and hopfuly it will come out but got this feeling its not going to arrive till the new year. i hope im wrong.

  3GB download, hundreds of thousands of people downloading when it actually goes live… I’l wont be up for long

  Maybe sony could offer the option of a dvd through the post etc… but i guess people would just try and rip the code apart… Just thinking out loud.

  what is the big deal build your home walk around>>> i want to play!!!! get in a game.. u want to meet up with friends and create a game.. well, all multiplayer games have party tabs to go into and invite a friend or create a match ect… i want much more out of home to impress me…..

  the gaming world is not ready for this yet…
  i bet only little kids with no life are gonig to be walking around doing stupid stuff!

  ps3 all Day! but im hoping HOME is not GAY!

  you know im gettin tired of read,hoping,and wishing this thing come out or me being a beta tester. what do i have to do to play be involved with this thing. MAN im gettin so mad waiting here and now we still dont have a date while 360 got there thing TODAY!!! WOW i hate to say this but thats why 360 is in first right now, i really hate to say that cus im a true ps3 fan but all these delays are waring us down and most of us are starting to not be interested in this……

  Home is an entirely different animal form the NXE. The new xbot thing is mostly an esthetic change to the operating system. If offers a few other options like Miis and the ability to install games to the hard drive (like the PS3 does). That’s pretty much it. Home on the other hand is a massively ambitious idea. It will offer a whole new dimension to social gamming. Instead of looking at text names in a games lobby – you can actually meet up with people and have a graphical representation of them. Since the two projects are so drastically different, naturally the xbot thing did not take as long to create.

  Home is just vapourware, they leak these so called release dates to increase sales of the ps3. Then the fat cats sit back and laugh at the gullible people while smoking their paper money roll ups.

  I don’t know why everyone is expecting HOME today when it is an extension of the CLOSED beta and is still CLOSED..? You will get in this phase by invitation only and those invites are being sent tomorrow and next week…

  I personally dont see what all the hype is about HOME. Yeah, it definitely looks cool and people will enjoy it when its new and can create themselves and their apartment, but after that, then what? Its just a longer, more tedious way to get into a game with friends.

  If theres something else I’m missing about HOME, please let me know…. then maybe i’ll be as excited as the rest of you.

  Asfor the release date, whenever is good with me, but the sooner hte better just so we can say we have it rather than “Oh, not yet”

  all i can say is just put it aside and just not look for a release date coz you cant beleve anything on the net one min it comes out tomorrow the next is a date that changes from page to page. im not suprised that sony are just sat in there beautiful chairs with there beautiful minds saying to one another “look all these people want home HA where not givin it to them” please prove me wrong!

  home ? whats that dont make me sick delays after more delays, and why do only a few so called loyal fans get home beta with a key code this is a joke good mind 2 put my ps3 in the bin, and never buy a sony product again god i thought microsoft was bad they have nothing on sony just get home beta out and stop fuc..ing us around you fat money making company, just let us ALL have home beta as home will still be in beta for a good year to come and we all will in time still be testing the dame thing for you

  I recieved the home beta 3 days ago , 3 days after i downloaded the home theme. i do play alot. but i am not sure how they pick the beta testers. For all you ppl without the beta yet. It is very kool, and in my oppinion they need more testers , idk y they dont open the beta yet. good luck getting in.
