How do UK residents take advantage of these deals?

  • 2 el_corto // Nov 26, 2008 at 4:37 pm

    Don’t think we do!

All we do is watch while a UK website puts american prices up!!

I started reading this site as it was a ps3 site for the uk but what it seems like is happing is that they can only get there news from america!

When we going to get UK prices, release dates and news!

These deals aren’t good, well the TV and PS3 is a good deal, but $490 for an 80Gig PS3 ($400), a game ($60) and a blu-ray movie ($30)? Those are normal prices, they suck! Also, $60 for Madden, that’s not special, that’s regular price!

    Heh! America FTW!!

I have to agree. It’s pretty shitty that everything is advertised in American prices/stores on a UK site. WTF sony?

I’m an American and so I’m not complaining. But, it seems a tad unfair to our British friends. SOE needs to get on the ball.

These featured deals are for Black Friday. Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving. This signals the start of the holiday shopping season. All of the stores in the states have fantastic deals on all merchandise. Since the holiday is localized to the states, it makes sense that the deals are only available to the states also.

I’m sure we will both enjoy these kinds of bundles and deals once Christmas gets closer.

What I’m saying is that these prices are not special, given the significance of the holiday. The day after thanksgiving in the US is like Boxing Day in the Commonwealth.
