Oh yes, very excited and over the moon are some of the words to describe for the latest news of the “Sony PlayStation Home release Update”, Sony Corp will be releasing its 3D virtual online community service for PlayStation 3 called “HOME” on December 11, yes that is tomorrow.
Sony will indeed be opening the all new PlayStation Home to the public tomorrow as the open beta finally gets some action; this game client will be free and once you have downloaded it there will be a new “Home” icon which will pop-up within the PlayStation Network column of the XMB. The service as said will be free but you should know that there will be some paid-for content as well like clothes and many accessories etc.
This new environment will be out of this well and the likes of exploring the Far Cry 2-themed environment, many areas for the likes of SOCOM, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Warhawk and Motorstorm which will soon be available.
Home will be the be all and end all as they say with additions like fashion labels such as Diesel who will be offering trendy gear, there will be many big names within this virtual world and we know it will blow us away. We like the fact that there will be the awesome Red Bull who will be hosting a very cool virtual flying challenge where you get to be the pilot, just look for the Red Bull Island.
Roll on tomorrow, once we are in the all new HOME environment PS3 Daily would love to meet you in there.

Hopefully they will open up some new areas other than what Closed BETA was provided with. Also hopefully they allow connections accross the pond.

Each area is given a persons limit so that when it reaches the max another area will open so that can be filled

4 and 6 yesterday silly, and they had technical difficulties and the launch got delayed. it went live at around 8:24pm GMT
The download can be found under your network menu (the same menu where you find the Playstation Store link)
If it isn’t there, turn your ps3 off with the switch at the back of the console, leave it 5 seconds then turn it back on and see if has appeared.

man that open beta was awsome i just want to know if the movies will be free in the movie thearter that would make it perfect the beta was fast to download and the graphics were pretty good i hope they will have better music though
