i love so many things, the way it looks, the way the disc gets sucked into the disc drive with out havin to open it, the colour, the way everything is on it from the start like blue ray, hdmi port, wireless router, the feel of the controller which is nice to hold. these are jus sum of the little things that make me love it. not to mention blu-ray, free online play, free updates n demo’s, bein able to upgrade the memory with any laptop compatible hdd. even the game cases look great, nice and small, the way my 60gb ps3 is compatible with ps1 and ps2 games (best selling consoles of all time). dvd player, cd player, itz everything in 1. the games, metal gear, uncharted, gran turismo, little big planet, motorstorm ta name a few. ha the way i talk about this no wonder my girlfriend gets jealous :D

There are many things. The number one reason that I got mine at first was for blu-ray. But the best thing about it is the cell processor. Years in the making, SONY, IBM, and Toshiba did a great job making it more powerful than the death box please fix me.

absolutely everything about the PS3 is amazing…significantly the PS3 is that “one up” (or several up) from any other console in existence…yeah some argue the 360’s specs are up to PS3 standards BUT the PS3 can actually run those specs whereas the 360 = brick :P…before, the games lacked slightly since the console came out ahead of its time but now they are spectacular not to mention that one can revisit those great classics from PS1 and PS2 because they are fully compatible - even the save files if you have a memory card adapter…I tip my hat to any who stuck the wait and paid the price for this amazing console :)

This is like going to a support group meeting. My PS3 once saved me from a burning building. There is no way an Xbox could do that.

The way it changes and adapts to new issues and gaming functions.

I’m an atheist, but thank god for those updates!

I love the moment I can’t sign in to PSN and I see the magic little phrase appears ‘Version x.xx is now available’. It’s like Christmas to a child, waiting for the surprise.

The PS3 acts like an organic life form, growing and changing all the time. Long may it live/last.

the one thing i love about it, damn that’s tricky. i’d have to go with the EXPANDABILITY of the thing, i have so much stuff jacked into it, it’s unreal for a console and it still doesn’t even mind.

i have the hdmi signal split to run a 1080p signal to a compaq p1220 monitor which has usb hub built in, in the hub i have a imac pro k/board and mouse and and eyetoy cam. the monitor usb runs from my workstation to a ps3 usb port. all works fine.

the other hdmi signal goes to my 32″ hdtv

on the PS3 itself one usb runs to a 7 port usb 2.0 neon illuminated hub, from that runs: a joypad charger (with more neon), a ps2 memory card adapter, an eyetoy cam, a sound to light unit for blue leds in the stacker unit, a keyboard on my coffee table, a 4Gb flash drive for gamesave back-ups, my guitar hero wi-fi pick-up.

another usb port powers my 60Gb external harddrive (i have a 250Gb fitted internally)

the last usb hole drives my front of case mounted mk3 intercooler and built in bright blue LCD internal temperature read out (usual running temp 44′C while heavy gaming if you’re interested )

not bad for an original 60Gb launch PS3 :)

i’d like to see the other console come close to matching that :D

the fact that november sales put ps3 dead last selling half as many units as the 360 and that the holiday season is going to be a massive failure for the ps3 : )

PS3 owners tend to be better people to hang about with. Their are 100 times less idiots and retards when playing online for free with PSN than when paying to play online with the 360.
