Now we have gone into the world of Sony Home virtual world a number of times and all seems to be the same with no added rooms, worlds or indeed anything else. Looks like the EU Home will have to wait a little longer.

Well the Asian Home is the place to be at the moment because the Asian Home expansion is hot; yes it is getting Ridge Racer, Soul Calibur & Tekken rooms once it expands with Namco Bandai space. There will be classics like Dig Dug, Galaga, Xevious and Pac Man on arcade machines as well. Not only will you get these rooms buy in Asia you will get brand new Christmas items to buy such as holiday themed costumes and furniture plus Namco Bandai and Nippon-Ichi branded items.
Now MOG has already mentioned the “Home update today: Patch 1.03 to 1.04” and that it may be getting some expected locations and we are hoping this will happen today. All we know is Sony better do something because there is only so much you can do at the moment and frankly it is a boring Home environment.

You almost quoted me correctly… almost xD
I am 100% positive we will not be getting any items or locations on todays patch (Certainly not Red Bull Island), but there is a high chance on the days surrounding Christmas we will be having a nice Christmas prezzie in the form of a fun filled home update.

I was quite disappointed at the update and the requirement to download all the same area’ s again, for what i can only see been two additional shops. Their are no new areas or seating to chat and chill which is needed and the availability to play your own music from the system, which is an oversight that should have never been made.
To say that Home is the child of a British Development studio you would have thought that the EU version would be the place to be, or at least the test bed for new ideas and areas. I am sure that within a year Home will have grown into something special, but at the moment and given the length of time it has taken I am left totally underwhelmed.
Additionally, although not a Home issue, I am tired of people asking where I am from then telling me they have no keyboard when I type back to them…… If you cannot talk don’t start a conversation!! I am glad to see that the idiot factor is very low though, with fools few and far between.

Home was a disappointed. The only thing I noticed were the constant yelling, cursing, and screaming. Idiots would stand up in the Theater and block the view of the trailers, the female characters would run away the moment you said hi to them, etc.
Home needs a MAJOR update!!!! end of story….

Personally, I’m going to say:
I was quite disappointed at the update and the requirement to download all the same area’ s again
this is turning into the most frustrating part (although I noticed, somehow I got a different central plaza layout last time I downloaded it than any previous time).,.. although if I have items in my personal space, the exact same items reappear in my personal space where they first were, so it’s not “all bad”.
As we know that Asia-Home is getting special rooms, I guess my question is for you EU -Homies (Homers?),.. have you guys got any rooms that the NA batch haven’t gotten yet?

I am extremely disappointed with Home, its another one of Sony’s flash in the pan projects that isnt going to catch on unless they stop treating EU consumers differently to the US and Japanese consumers, if an EU consumer buys a PS3 they should have just as many rights as the US and Japan. I think its disgusting that they get all priority downloads weeks before us, I dont know what the sales figures are for the different continents, but I believe that this is what is the key figure as to who gets first refusal. Sony need to buck their ideas up and start treating everyone fairly.

Only area’s that I have and I am in the EU are my personal space which is the Harbour appartment, then we have the:
Home Plaza
Theatre
Bowling Alley
Shopping Area
I do like home, but that is because I can see what it could be. I have met some new people and had the chance to have conversations with people on my friends list that I have only before just played with and never really spoken too.
Cannot really complain about something that is free, but when other sectors are getting further new area’s after previous new area’s while the EU is still left stagnant, it is hard not to feel a little hard done by. It should be the same Home foe everyone.

Just goes to show what Sony think about the EU area…
They have no time for us

Now, apart from the bowling, which i think is really well done - but with limited alleys its hard to get on, Home is a bit of a failure really.
Now i don’t know. Really now.
